I think the away team should get full points. I think more so that the game should go to another venue.

We play shield cricket to produce test players. Not playing does not produce anything.

Agree
This is not fair for WA
WA have been denied a chance to get maximum points, through no fault of their own

The SS ladder b4 this round of matches
Each team after the first 5 rounds
NS 32.69
QL 24.78
WA 21.65
TA 14.15
SA 9.53
VI 9.47

The shared points between VI/WA may cost WA a chance to play in a SS final
The shared points might also get them into a final
I think WA would have liked a chance for max points
WA could afford to set a a 4th innings target as a VI win would be of little consequence
That target could have set on day 2 perhaps ....

LADDER after 6 rounds

NS 40.35
QL 26.18
WA 24.65
SA 17.99
TA 15.69
VI 12.47

VI and WA have been allocated 3 points each for the abandoned match
They didnt get any bonus points, is this fair or unfair ?

Unfair to give the home side points.

Even worse considering the added bonus of bonus points.

What happened to rescheduling the match in WA?

Just seen Jims post. Reschedule in Perth is the way to go. BBL will probably bugger it up.

Im not sure which or how many players from the VI V WA will line up in the BBL
If this game is played on new years, there would be too many players unavailable due to BBL ?
The following players I reckon would have to play one game or the other
VI
Harris
Maddinson
Handscombe
Finch
Short
+ others

WA
Bancroft
S Marsh
Stoinis
Agar
+ others

Too messy for a replay ?

Not sure how that is going to be able to occur with BBL on.

Because he is High Performance Manager...

You're talking about Siddons the actual head coach?
