Cant be expecting miracles this year. Late appointment, cant bring in own coaches as due to COVID they cant afford to replace who is left, late start only arriving in October, the list has already been compiled by Tim Neilson. He will need this season to make all the changes required for next season.

What was the point of the ‘Hussey’ review?
Why advertise then?

Then be accused of 'jobs for the boys' again!amber_fluid wrote:Dizzy wanted the job so why waste time.
They’ve just wasted time and money doing interviews.
Who was going to apply that was going to beat Dizzy to the role?
Unless Ponting wanted it just give it to Dizzy and get going.

Either option they were screwed by someone with an opinion.....
The 2 candidates that missed out were also highly valued coaches in their own right so should have been able to state their credentials for the job.
Due process was followed and Dizzy is ****** for his first season in charge anyway with no big name interstate recruit and a virtually unchanged list from last season.
