Matt Prior did it in Sydney 2011, all be it England used a night watchman which pushed Prior from 7 to 8.

More recently Indian Wicketkeeper Saha did it as well, in 2017 at Ranchi

Finally, not a number 8, but NZ's Parore did it in Perth 2001 from #9, scoring 110 as part of a 253 run stand with Astle
