They’ll still keep him for the 3rd test, but they shouldn’t

Soft dismissal, Burns gives Santner his first wicket.
Smith looking to score early, maybe him and Wade will look to accelerate?

Bryce McGain and Michael Beer say hi.

So too does Dan Cullen.

Xavier Doherty is the worst of that group.

I could watch Wagner bowl everyday. Love the way he goes about it

Best bowler in this test I reckon

His form is definately a big worry

Think his runs in first innings were useful. But what he does need is to develop a FLEXIBLE strategy to the short ball. First innings he decided to not play any cross bat shots. Second innings he was going to thrash anything short. Think he needs to play each short ball on its merits and not attempt to implement an inflexible approach formulated before he reaches the crease.
Perhaps take a leaf out of Paines philosphy in first innings.

Quick runs.
Batting practice.
Save Head and rest him for the 3rd test.

Definitely gets the most out his ability but I’m still staggered at how his pedestrian garbage gets wickets. As others have said his career would have lasted 1 test in any other era

8 for 170 declared looks a hell of a lot better if they're looking to move the game along.

Not even the slightest bit garbage. I’d rather face express pace than him any day of the week.
