The 4th test in Brisbane finished on the 19th of January and the next Shield game is Queensland v Victoria on the 12th of February and the next One day cup game is Tasmania v WA on the 16th of February (for our NSW bowlers the next shield match for them is the 19th of February), after 3/4 weeks off having a rest you don't think those guys will be keen to play some cricket?

But they were gonna bowl in SA.. and it’s already been documented it’s a long time till next test series.

If they don’t play it shows how piss weak they are

I had a earache the other day so I left work early hoping to chill out and watch Tipping Point, channel 9 had put some backyard tennis comp on pretty much every one of their 47 channels FFS, I should've stayed at work.

Makes for good discussion but what is worse?
Tennis or soccer

I hate soccer!

I can't watch either, I will watch the Socceroo's play in the World Cup if they progress deep but that's about it.

I don't mind playing tennis though.

10 overs, 0 maidens, 1/60

9 off 13 balls, in 25 minutes, 1 boundary.

Uni of Tas chased down North Hobarts 6/287 thanks to Doran's 140 from 129 balls with 1 over to spare at 7/290.

Opened the bowling, it was a very rank standard.

Anyone else find it ironic that only last week South Africa had a massive crack at Australia for not touring due to their internal safety concerns surrounding the SA strain of Covid, now their government suspends vaccinations over internal fears that they don’t work....

Oh boy, maybe now Graeme Smith and the CSA board will be more understanding of CA's concerns?

It just proves those idiots had no idea what they were talking about. Every doctor in the World has their own take on this latest strain, but realistically there isn’t enough data yet to give people a better understanding of exactly how it works - Hints governments here are quick to shut borders and cities as soon as this variant is mentioned. I’m actually shocked that they haven’t seriously copped it from the international media.
