Doesnt matter what we do here in the last 10, it will never be enough, our first 10 overs are always terrible
And Weatherald's run out makes thing worse, geez that was bad cricket. Alot of pressure on Head and Salt to score big now, can Salt deliver in a final?
Ponting just said the average first innings score at the Gabba is 148, lots of work to be done if the Strikers are to get to that score.

16 in the surge, you beauty!
we have no pwer hitters to correct this abortion of a display anyway, time for a big rebuild.
If Rashid is costing us too much and restricting who else we can recruit then we need to look at moving him on to get a better balanced team. All the international poms that smack it have played for numerous franchises so clearly they have been on the market.

Head is getting all the coin along with Rashid.
I’d move Head on as well.
All teams have at least one power hitter.
We have no one.

Disagree, the Strikers power hitters are suppose to be Carey and Salt.

They’re suppose to be but aren’t.
Carey is very good but he’s not clearing the fence regularly.
Salt isn’t up to it IMO

That's a ripper of a nut from Neser to knock over Lynn.
And from earlier, always nice to watch a Ben Laughlin special, what a catch! Has a crazy knack of taking rippers.

Game on now with the Heat at 3/23.
Great start from Siddle and the early wickets are ideal but it's a question of will the Strikers have enough to defend if the Heat get a partnership going?

Didn’t see that one but I saw Nesers drop a half chance and Briggs drop an absolute sitter.
Can’t drop anything when defending such a low total

Weatherald's was even more of sitter than Briggs drop.

Has Marnus been spoken with?

Friday night he acts like a tool when getting a tail ender out from a full toss, Tonight when he actually gets Uzzy with a good ball he hardly reacts?

No doubt Boof would have said something as well.
Even when he was on the mic being serious he still seemed like a flog.

Yep, Head takes up a fair bit of cap for minimal games.

I reckon Renshaw is on a fair whack as well.
This season worked out to around $1,000 per run!! Now he'll get signed on a long term deal with the Redbacks (as has been mentioned on here before?).
