Normally you both Cummins and Hazelwood and when you need some class and someone you k own can deliver, you have these blokes.

Starc can be all over the shop at times, Richardson and Nesser are freshies. Green is in the same boat.

If England win the toss and bat they will make 500 plus.
Our attack is disgraceful, they could actually get 500 in a day, Starc could go at 6/over, Neser wouldnt get any of us out, will be relying on Richardson and Green.

RB's prediction: Head to ton up. Not sure which innings.

Would be real nice to win the toss and bat, ideally well into tomorrow as it's going to be a hot one.

1982-83

first test drawn, Alderman Gone, Lillee out (knee surgery)

Up steps Lawson to lead, chuck in Thommo and Rackerman) win test

Rackerman gets injured

In comes Hogg (win 3rd test English batters shitting themselves on day one, helped!)

Ashes won three tests later!!

Crisis creates opportunity

Good luck is when Opportunity and preparation collide. Come on down Michael Neser!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Crisis averted winning the toss.
If we can bat until half way through the day tomorrow its game over.
On the other hand if we get rolled in 2 sessions, all is not lost, were still in it with bowling tonight.

This is the main problem with the day/night test, the toss is too influential

We've lost 2 strike bowlers plus one of our openers has buggered ribs,
the poms have their 2 best bowlers back,
if the poms don't win this, they should give themselves covid and piss off home.
