If he can’t bowl quicker with his short height then I’m not sure he’ll get many matches over next few years.

Also Warne is a twat, loves his own voice and talks shit. “Neser isn’t a swinger of the ball, relies on straight attacking stumps” umm has he watched Neser at all?

I've never seen Richardson bowl 150, generally he's been around the low 130's-140 and 145 at the absolute most. I had a laugh when the graphic came up on the TV with him being Right Arm Fast, he's definitely Fast Medium.

Warne clearly hasn't watched or seen much of Neser, he's one of the only guys in first class cricket that can genuinely swing the ball both ways.

STARc gets Root out in the last over

At least Joe had the balls to keep batting

Softened him up then gets him, great finish to the day for the Aussies.

Joe Root has now scored the most runs as England test captain, going past Alastair Cook during his innings of 24.

I would have been 100% in agreeance with you on that one mal and looking at his non existent footwork for the 1st 2 balls he faced today where he was lucky not to be OUT on both of them it's hard to fathom how he's averaged over 60  It's amazing he doesn't get LBW and caught behind the wicket more often, must be that "Dead fish eye" he has that saves him .

For the spectators, commentators and scorers, just a bit of a gimmick.

They get to pick their own from what are available.

Can England show a bit of fight today?

Geez they've relied heavily on Malan and Root to score their runs - only two blokes with 100+ runs this series so far.

Hameed 58 @ 14.50 from 4 inn
Burns 51 @ 12.75 from 4 inn
Pope 44 @ 14.66 from 3 inn

Do they have any other batsmen on this tour?

Has definitely proved the selectors right

Averaging 73.66 with a strike rate of 92.85 are ridiculous numbers. I'm loving him playing with freedom - it's not always going to work for him, and the knockers will come when he does fail, but geez he moves the game a long and it's entertaining.

I hope he keeps playing his own game - see ball, hit ball. Let Labuschagne and Smith wear the bowlers down, let Head continue to do his thing.

If he fails, then you'd hope Green and Carey can steady ship again.

What did Cornes say?

With Warne to me, it seems he gets an idea or thought then just presses on it for half and hour. Makes his point, then continues to go around in circles.

By the end of his rants, he tries to play it off like it's the whole commentary team that's been saying it.

Rarely does he ever seem to actually commentate the play, just dribbles shit about something i.e over rates, declarations, bowling changes, batting with intent.

No, they'll fold like a deck of cards.

Buttler may as well go the slap once he gets out there, you can see the lack of confidence Stokes has in the tail by the way he won't take singles while he has someone up the other end who has a HS of 169.

We've been fortunate that we've batted at the right times this series, I thought it was a ballsy decision to bat again Saturday night instead of enforcing the follow-on, lucky Don Harris stepped up and got us through the night.

One thing that has irked me is the fact that we've had two Aussie umpires, we've been afforded all of the favours on-field, it's embarrassing, Smith's LBW yesterday and then Burns' getting fired out caught behind last night almost before the ball made it to Carey.

They are both exactly the same height so I guess you'd have to judge by weight on a countback.

I don't remember who said it (**** probably was Warne  ) but i agree that LBW referrals shouldn't factor in whether they're hit in line if the ball is hitting the stumps.

Two balls the same in terms of umpires call and hitting the stumps (Lyon and Broad), and two different outcomes due to umpires decision - and then the umpire rating isnt impacted on it because technically they haven't made a wrong decision.

No doubt Warnie would've had work done on his.

A few years ago a chick that I was knocking about with told me she had a tinder date with Warnie, well sort of.

He'd propositioned her for a date, she obliged and thought it was pretty cool, she rocked up to the location right on time, he must've got there earlier and spun some magic as he was walking out with two chicks as she got there.

She thought it was a good idea to post his phone number on facebook later that evening for her friends to go to town on him.

Warne easily - wanker on a global scale, and has been for far longer than Cornes.

No one outside his own family really knows who Cornes is, and hardly anyone outside SA.
