338 tests played
139 australia
108 england
91 drawn
should have been- but for rain ...
140 australia
108 england
90 drawn
Gotta win this test
Aussies better NOW, but that can change
31 in front, but we cant sit back on what Don Bradman and Matthew Wade have done
Also
Can WHUFC stop sulking , we need his input on Careygate !

Feel bad for Hobart.. get nothing, finally a chance to host a decent fixture and this.
If this test becomes a non-event, impacted heavily by rain or poorly attended the vultures like Warne wont hold back.

In the BBL yesterday they closed the roof and played 2 games
Could we ever play tests under a roof in the future ?

Yes. Nothing is off limits these days.. except under a roof the pitch wouldn't break up would it?

I can think of many reasons why they should NOT play under a roof
Was just a thought
Watching a game under a roof NOW is better than waiting for the weather to clear

They aren't playing at Marvel over the MCG
Marvel is the only stadium with a roof I can think of, unless there is one in England that could host cricket

Very good decision by Joseph
Means this test will last longer !
Means Pat Cummins will have to declare with a lead of 416+
They might scrounge a draw again , if it rains again

Yep, I get the feeling this pitch will be pretty flat despite the green

It should deck around for the first hour or so then flatten right out I reckon.

Might declare with a 200 run lead and bowl under lights on a day 1 deck that has some grass coverage

Well, makes me look a bit stupider than I already do, Leach finally does something and gets dropped for it.
FWIW, I still think Root is a better spinner.
