If Finch gets the tap on the shoulder as he should, who is the next captain?
Is it Head?
Carey?
Marnus?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

It really depends. You would think once the World Cup comes around Cummins, Smith and Warner would be in the best 11....maybe not Smith so would they be the first in line captains come the WC.

The more I think about this test series, the more I think it confirms Australia as the second-best test nation going around at the moment, with daylight separating us from third.

For starters, it's really difficult to win a test series away from home. This does not happen often these days.

Against a Pakistan side who were clearly vastly superior to the outfit that toured Australia several years ago, on decks that were made from concrete, I thought we were the better side in all three tests and almost all of the fifteen days of test cricket.

Our bowling unit did struggle to pick up wickets at times - but so did Pakistan's, and in the end ours did enough to clinch the series, again I stress under conditions unfamiliar to our bowlers and not conducive to wicket-taking.

Despite my own initial reservations, we timed the declaration right in the final test and deservedly finished our opposition off. Cummins and co knew what they were doing all along.

Well done to Australia and I look forward to seeing us take on India.
