How its going to plan out...….

The irony would be couldn't win a test with 2 days to bowl them out where Pakistan will probably bat and hit 600 and then bowl us out on the last day minefield for 150 to win the series.

Really disappointed in the pitches the Pakis have served up. This had all the makings of a cracker test series yet has been fairly tame apart from 1hour on day 5 in the second test. I really rate the Pakis fast bowling attack they should have had more confidence in themselves.

The Paki's are bought up playing on dry dusty wickets so they replicate that for first class games, through to test cricket.
They master reverse swing from a young age.
They think that's the best way for them to not lose a test match.

Here in Australia as you go up the grades to first class the standard of pitch improves ( theoretically).
Not the case in Pakistan.
Mark Waugh referred to the current pitch as a dry creek bed. And it does.
Its bloody awful. But hey it is what they serve up so we just suck it up and get on with it.

Both sides have to play on it so we can’t complain and we do the same here in Australia.
If we don’t win this test and the series it won’t be coz of the pitch.
Dropped catches, poor captaining at times, lack of a quality spinner and batsmen not going on when settled in will be to blame here.
Not playing Boland is a strange one as well.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Did I hear or read that in Aust we are now required to have 11mm of grass on the wicket (might've got the measurement incorrect)? If we do this through club through district through shield for an extended period of time, surely this sets us up for failure overseas?

Set leg side/straight fields and bowl at the stumps. Give up trying
To Snick blokes off. Bit of inconsistency with the bounce, and change your
Pace up.

Incredibly beige cricket that reflects the beige surroundings of the stadiums, Pakistan looks an incredibly unappealing place to visit.

Wow that's media censorship isn't it!

Tell it like it is. Flat lifeless wickets.
Its turf cricket not dirt cricket.

Would be nice if Smith just didn’t watch balls go through the slips either

Regulation first slip catch.
Sure the balls not carrying through so come up but still be at the first slip angle.
Smith was too wide and Carey was no chance.

Flat decks or not the bowlers have created more than enough chances for us to wrap this series up

I love watching Shah, he's a bit of a rabbit but he gets them through at a good rate with seemingly little effort.

PA have missed the boat ?
Flat home decks = 2 draws , and maybe 3 ?

Australian pitches are result pitches
Had they played this series in OZ , AU most likely win 3-0 ?

PA curators should look at how the Indian curators prepare pitches ?
Makem spin heeps, bounce low
Had this series been pitches like that , PA would prob win 2-1 ?

Yes, it was a bit of a gamble, it might pay off for them. I think they're going to win this test.

PA should have won the last test, only King Babar knows why they didn't have a red hot go at it, even their supporters were crying foul of it.

Would lve to see it come back and bite them in this test but Im with LM and think they will win unless we have a fantastic 1st session today
