If we bat well enough today we could realistically get to say 4/490 by tea (1/110 each session).

Start to go a bit quicker after tea and score say 3/150 finish day 4 at 7/640 a lead of 170.

Maybe get a quick fire 30 runs on the morning of day 5 and declare with a lead of 200 and hope the pitch has turned into a minefield.

Watch us get bowled out for 350 now.

This is where having a bowling skipper can retard us, not that there is a realistic chance at all for an outright.

It would be pretty deflating for him to keep running in and getting nothing out of the pitch, he'd lose faith in himself and the bowling group to be able to bowl them out for bugger all.

I doubt that they'll get through two full days anyway without pulling up stumps early for bad light, we have the trophy so the pressure is on Pakistan to take it from us, we may aswell see if Marnus or Smith can get a triple.

Yeah agree. Personally I think the chance of a win is very slim so I would just but normal for two days if possible and just physically hurt the Pakistan pace bowling attack. short term loss for long term gain.

I just hope Australia bat for as long as possible to hopefully grind the Pakistani attack into the ground.

Its not bullshit hot over there either to dry it out further.
They should just go for the highest test innings score record.

The wicket was starting to crack quite a bit and the ball was keeping low regularly. We aren't out of the woods yet IMO.

Warne's top 50 wickets on at the moment.
The other highlight is the quality commentators we had at the same time

Top 50 wickets in Australia

Hasn't got his ball of the Century, the one he bowled to Gooch at Trent bridge in 1993 (behind his legs), Strauss in 2005, the one to Hudson behind i his leg in South Africa in '94

Barely 30 of what Fox has of his top 50 would make the final cut

How good was the last bit, Warnie talking about how he started, his love for the history of the game, his mates, but how he's still the same.

Absolute ripper.
