Great to see nothing's changed again this season with Tim Nielsen looking after the interstate recruits!!
I've also heard that the replacement player for Travis Head is.... Jordan Buckingham. What the F is going on there?? He's really going to strengthen the batting lineup.
I'm sure West Torrens will be happy they lose an opening bowler who will just be sitting around and won't play at all. What an F...ing joke!

Game 1
Last ball win to Sydney Thunder over Melbourne Stars
Great start to the season, a promotors dream
Both sides batted like the English Test team, but not as good

6/184 (20) for the Strikers, very good score to start their tournament.
Short 84 (53)
Lynn 41 (34)
Abbott 3/37, took all 3 wickets in the last over of the innings

Is Short the most improved player in the BBL over the past two seasons?

He has become a decent 20/20 cricketer
84 off 53 balls was awesome but prob should have been out for 1 ?
The LBW overturned by DRS appeared to be out from the lounge chair angle
To his credit he took advantage

I have to agree with the LM question
He might just be the most improved BBL player in the comp in recent seasons

I know it's a bit premature but I don't mind how the squad looks, there is plenty of variation with the ball, do we lose anyone else besides Rashid during the season?

I've always liked the look of Billy Bob, I can see de Groundhog copping a 30 run over at some stage, most of the balls I seen him bowl would've been called wide if the batsman left them, an interesting ploy to avoid being hit for 6.
