I spent Thursday and Friday watching as I have a son playing
The cricket quality has been above SACA A grade standard as the quality from this group were drafted to teams as well as some international players, past and present and a number of interstate players

It is the 100 ball concepts with a few nuances

Thursday was a batters day with 100 Sixers being hit

Finals day today which is live-streamed on YouTube or the app

Is it going to survive.

I presume the players are paid and teams earn their dollars through sponsorship. Has there been enough interest sponsors will want to continue to fork the dollars for it

So, you're telling me that if you condense the cricket talent across a relatively smaller number of teams you end up with a higher standard competition? Someone get Mike Hussey on the phone.

Ive liked the 2 runs for a wide plus a free hit, bumps up the scoring alot
If its a better standard than grade cricket its no wonder the Redbacks are shite.
Where is Alleyne from? He hits them well?
Is Page still playing Grade cricket?

If they give 2 runs and free hit for a wide, you've lost me already. That's rubbish. What other mickey mouse rules have the introduced. Can't get out first ball? One hand one bounce?

They have an APP on the apple store APL or YouTube for livestream not sure about playHQ
Alleyne is from the West Indies via Melbourne where he’s been playing this summer
Page played yesterday at TTG

5 balls is an over and they bowl 20 balls from one end then change ends, you can bowl 10 balls in a row and batters don’t change ends at the end of the first 5 all bowlers can bowl 20 balls max

Franchise owners have committed for 3 years so I guess we will know f it’s a success by then

Yeah, it really is incomparable, Daniel is a very gifted cricketer but I wouldn’t have thought he’d be ranked 6 or around that mark, that’s a massive call.

I wasn’t able to open the list, I was just going by the comments.

today they didnt give 2 for a wide, still a free hit though
where was Page today Arry?
Crushers were no good without him, not sure about the finals set up, Crushers smashed everyone in 4 minor round games, played a team who won one from 4 in the semi and got smashed.
