Not a crack at you Booney but holy **** it gives me the shits when sports fixtures are published without the day of the week included.

Wasn't there some big announcement that Adelaide would get the "xmas test" for the next 7 years?

Seems like we don't have the last test before xmas.

True. When I fill in forms that require my date of birth I make sure to add the day of the week.

Going to be interesting in two and half years time -

2026-27

August: One Test and three T20s v Afghanistan (northern Australia) - yeah right based on the current view of CA

✈ September-October: Three Tests and three ODIs tour of South Africa

November-December: Three ODIs and five T20s v England

December-January: Three Tests v New Zealand - two cities out of Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth are going to be p!ssed off

✈ January-February: Five-Test Border-Gavaskar Series tour of India

March: Two Tests v Bangladesh - hmm when in March given when footy takes over Adelaide Oval and Perth stadium

I think the term 'Christmas Test' were the words used by the Premier about a permanent return to a December test match rather than having to be later in December and block any gap for another test elsewhere prior to Boxing Day. Nice to have it starting on the traditional Friday which is how all test matches except Boxing Day should be.
