Umpire Daryl yeah yeah no HAIR was today sacked as
an International umpire.

My biased comment is well done Mr. Hair on calling Muralichuckeran.
How that chucka is allowed to bowl is beyond lateral thinking.
Every bowler who has been called or banned for chucking should
be retrospectively exonerated for thier actions.

The very first or one of the first Aussies to be called for chucking was
the big fast bowler Ernie Jones in the 1890's, if only Ernie could defend himself now.
Jones was also a premiership footballer for the North Adelaide football club.
I cant comment on Jones[maybe Coorong saw him] but the Sri Lankan is a chucka.

1897 from memory Mal. Was an athlete before his time. Actually has a headband with a lightning bolt emblem (sound familiar) wanted to wear it on the cricket field but was not allowed.

I met Hair at M.V. trotts about 3 years or so ago and chatted for some 20 minutes. A top bloke and a very astute punter.

the ICC need to stand up to the asian block and put the curry munchers back in their place. all umpires are now going to be shit scared and not do anything.

Mal, he is a chucka and the ICC changed the rules to suit him from the pressure of this block

with the control and sheer number of ppl in the asian countries, we will never see true justice against the chucka....makes my ******* blood boil how the ICC changed the law to accomodate this cheating prick.

I know several International umpires and you can believe me they are severely restricted in what they are able to do. Whether you like him or dislime him, Hair had the balls to stand up and try to do his job, and he had paid the price for it. I don't know why they have rules in cricket if umpires are not allowed to enforce them. Why do the ICC even any reference to legal deliveries and ball tampering in their laws if umpires get carpeted for enforcing them?

Hair didn't spend his time endearing himself to people, he just tried to do his job.

Just deserts.

Shot himself in both feet after the event, would've had a lot more support before he lost the plot.

Without India and the like, the ICC wouldn't have much money, because a lot of the games money is made in India.
