Manou made 15, that should be enough to keep his spot for the next 3 years because the selectors just love him.

8/154. I heard the wicket is very poor and anything around 170-180 may bw difficult to get. Let's hope so.

Please explain why Lehmann wins the toss and bats in a morning game  :?:
Now that you have confirmed its a poor wicket has Lehmann got rocks in his head :?:

Hard to say without knowing the conditions. Maybe Lehmann had the word from the curators that the wicket would be lucky to last 100 overs. If that's the case, it may have been a good decision.

HILFENHAUS 2/30 off his 10 overs, what a star.
BORGAS batted 7, too low

WA 234
MARSH 90
MCKAY 3/41

Mckay continues to impress in only his 3rd game.
50/50 game, slow pitch no doubt as per usual, but WA lack bowling strenghth.

Tassie 0/41 9.3 overs. Not looing good for the Redbacks.

My interest in the Redbacks is really dwinderling, shoot me down for that but I am just sick of pathetic performances, the old boys selection club, excuses and everything else. No excuses even if the wicket is poor in the morning, we are a pathetic side, poor leadership, poor coaching, poor selection, poor District cricket set up and it goes on. Sure we made the one day comp final last year but we still played incosistent cricket the whole year.

I really just want someone at the SACA/Redbacks to come out and say the current performances and not acceptable and will not be tolerated. The first step is ackowledging there is a problem which they refuse to do.

The players we have we should be doing better.

CA harsh but correct criticisms
I beleive in leading from the front.
Boffhead bats first on a dodgy pitch = 8/185
It must have improved because our number 10 Cullen made 27 *
TA now 0/66 of 15 overs
Di Vinuto 37*
Paine 24*
I bet those 2 are glad not facing Tait and Gillespie this morning.

Manou batting at 3
Lehmann 5 the best batsmen this year
Borgas the 2nd best batsman this year bats 7

Its frustrating when 8 year old kids know the batting order is crazy.

VI 2/82 OFF 16 OVERS CHASING 234
KLINGER 31*
CHAMP 0*...................THE SKIPPER if you cant work it out

Perhaps a bit harsh but not far from reality. Manou at 3, give me a break.

Tassie 0/70 off 17 overs.

Believe me, a lot of people in local cricket circles have been making noises fior years, only to be met with insurmountable obstacles preventing change. The current coaching staff is as frustrated as you and I are, make no mistake about that.

Personally, I am not interested in any team that has Manou in it, especially when he is batting at 3. He definitely must have friends in very high places because he's close to useless at 1st class level.

Favoritism and boys networks is the one part of cricket I cannot stand. It's not just the Redbacks, take a look at the English team. No way is Giles a Test bowler but he keeps getting a game, year in year out, even when they have a good spinner in Panesar missing selection at the expense of Giles.

We are producing some talented young cricketers in SA, just not a good team.
