Seriously judging by some of their of their actions this series have they had a "Plans" this year to some of our batsmen???

Also who leaves major tactical plans in a place which invites the opportunity for them to be leaked to the opposition. In this day of professional sport team plans should be in a booklet form each individual of the team and not plastered on a changeroom wall as alledged on the ABC this afternoon....

The plan was to bowl as many half volleys as possible to
Hayden and Symonds.
Why ?
Because they were the only 2 current top order Australian batsmen to not make
100 this series   :P     :!:    :(    :!:  :!:

Here are the plans if you haven't seen them yet:

Seems a lot of those plans revolve around getting the batsman out early. I would have thought you'd have plans to get a batsman out when they're first in and then you'd have other sets of plans you'd use when the batsman is set. Also doesn't mention which bowlers are suited to which batsman when they're first at the crease, but I guess they'd have more plans than that that weren't leaked.

Gee some rocket science stuff there....

dot balls to build up pressure....

keep it up on the stumps and get it either swinging in for the bowled of LBW or swinging away for the nick......

If in doubt bounce them to get 'em on the back pole....

Who would've thought those tactics would get wickets.....

Duncan you are a genius!!!!!!

Interesting that there are similar tactics that they would've have used last year but this time we are showing some application and aren't underestimating England, If we had only shown this application and desire last year especially during the 2nd and 3rd tests we wouldn't have handed over the urn in the 1st place....

memo for 2009, go in well prepared, focussed on getting the basics right and back your ability and well retain the urn in

of course the plans cant be complicated, have you looked at the English fast bowlers, most of them look like they are still struggling with spot.

Bowling plans for both teams
Dont appeal for LBW s when Rudi is umpiring.

Poor Bell, cops an LBW from Rudi both innings, the one today wasn't as plumb as some of the decisions against Hayden, Strauss and Cook which were turned down.

That all seems very interesting, but where did it say when Monty comes on to bowl all fielders will stand on the fence such that it is ensured that the Aust batsmen hit ones and twos each ball?
