Up until the last day of the Adelaide test there was a lot of talk about what a flat track it was, it was going to be a uneventful draw etc. etc.
Until recent years Adelaide had a reputation for having a flat track with a lot of draws, I thought I'd compare all Australian grounds.

Those stats are relevant until about 1990
since then they have to bowl 90 overs a day
they have to make up time for rain delays

Ian call me a spastic, but.....

Those figures show that the MCG is behind Adelaide and the SCG with respect to the total number of draws and the %age, So I don't understand the point youa re making based on those figures the MCG is the ground where you are most likely to get a result..... :-k :-k

Adelaide Oval was the last major ground to get lights...
I wonder if matches being held up cozza 'Bad light' have anything to do with it! :?

Those stats don't mean a lot because Test Matches were played differently years ago. Teams play for wins far more often these days. Dig out a stat over the past 15-20 years and see how many draws we've seen in that period.
