How Powerful is the Aussie Batting line up

White is a RH version of Gilly and on the smaller world cup venues, he will do plenty of damage down the order

The Aussies have powerful hitters all the way down to #7, not too many sides have this luxury

I still believe there is room for a fit Watson, definitely not as a opener, but somewhere down the order, probably replacing Johnson

He hit the premier o/d spinner VETTORI into the crowd twice
He hit BOND for 6[some others appeared intimidated against him]
THIS WAS HIS FIRST INNINGS IN A O/D OFFICIAL SERIES hit 45 of only 32 balls.

BOND was re-intimidated by WHITE bowling a wide/no ball/wide in a row.
White punished him severley whilst some others were a bit timid against the great
second best NZ fast bowler off all time.
BUT once BOND got WHITE out thier was little resistance.
WHITE caught mid wicket fence[his weakness]
ROY caught behind[playing a Pieterson like shot]
BRACKEN clean bowled off a slower ball
HAT TRICK and a fitting reward to the champion bowler.
A bowler who ALSO remarkably has the wood on PONTING.

What a day for the 2 star players WHITE and BOND.

Bond is a fantastic bowler. It's a shame he is so injury proned.. he always seems to get injured before an Aus-NZ test series too so a lot of aussie fans haven't seen him in action.
To come back from getting tonked for 22 off his penultimate over to taking a hat trick is great, what made it better was the fact he removed White then Symonds.. and the hat trick delivery (usually these are wasted) was a beauty.. perfect ball to bowl late in an innings, especially to a tail ender. What a star.

I like the look of MJ... too much fuss is made over Watson, he hasn't performed at a high level for an extended period of time.. his constant injuries don't help his cause obviously. Johnson bowled very well against the Poms the other night and continues to improve.

Yeah what I mean is, Watson puts in a few good performances then gets injured... not sure if he should be risked at this stage until he works on getting his body sound... lay off the weights maybe.

I am also a big fan of Hilfy, he has a big future.

White's batting has been awsome of late. It is his bowling that is the worry. He seems to be getting worse every year, his technique looks ordinary. Remember when he first came into the Victorian side he was twice the bowler he is now. Future years he will be a gun top six batsman who doesn't bowl.

My observations are he is dynamite of his stumps thru the leg side.
He bats very much like Daniel HARRIS from SA.
AU need to bowl outside off stump with a deep offside sweeper, he is
a bit loose on off stump.

Looks a contender in MALS next generation stable.

SOOTERS good observation with WHITE but lets give his straight breaks time to develope.
