Good to see Brad hodge back in the One - Day team for Fridays game against England. Hopefully he can get a score to cement a spot in the World Cup. Maybe only the one game while Ponting rests.

Hodge probably was not in the selectors thoughts @ the start of the season. But good results have helped him obviuosly.
Cosgrove has let a massive chance slip by !!!

Hodge a class batsman for a decade deserves a chance
Cosgrove virtually one good season.
There are about 12 cricketers better than Cosgrove [the team now]
And about another 12 after that
Would probably be in an Australia C team.

The Aussie selctors took Cosgrove overseas all be it to play the Bangers - so im really disapointed as a South Aussie supporter that he has dropped of the radar and he has let Hodge back in to the picture.
Also do agree that Hodge has the runs on the board so to speak.

Cosgrove is lucky the Redbacks are travelling rough or he wouldn't even be playing state cricket let alone in the Australian team. Okay, it's his body, it's his decision what he does with his life, but he WILL regret not grasping this opportunity with both hands. Each time a 1st class match is played in Australia, Cosgrove slips further down the selectors' list.

Cosgrove needs to get serious and lose 20kg before he is any chance to get into the Australian side
