4/6 of 3 overs Bandy, Voges, North and Rogers.....

WA 4/9 chasing 270 Langer must be injured as he is slated to come in @ 7-8

Yeah apparently Langer wasn't on the field today. Big game as well... winner goes top.

No surprise to see the worlds best bowler take a hat trick.
What a player.

Apologies to stuey and to mal (his no.1 fan) dont know where i got me mail from but it was way off beam

Langer is battling a cold. He was off the field for 2hrs on Friday and thus couldn't bat for that length of time after WA's innings started - or until 5 wickets fell..which nearly happened in just 7 overs !! :(

It was an excellent rearguard knock by Luke Ronchi though. This guy is moving up to another plane in his batting. Not a bad encore to that 56-ball ton in the one-day game the other day!!

CLARK STATISTICS

TESTS 9
WKTS 47
AVE 17-80

RIGHT HAND BATSMEN
WKTS 33
AVE 18-87

LEFT HAND BATSMEN
WKTS 14
AVE 14-28

VRS PIETERSON
247 BALLS
96 RUNS
1 WKT
AVE 96

VRS STRAUSS
119 BALLS
41 RUNS
4 WKTS

Please note that the RH AVE 18-87 + LH AVE 14-28 [= AVE 16-58]
So the source is slightly out with his average.

MOST WKTS AFTER 10 TESTS
-----------------------------------

CHARLES TURNER......69 @ 12-97 [Turner was lightning quick about 115 years ago]
BERT IRONMONGER... 59 @ 15-67 [ left arm unorthodox spinner about 80 years ago]
BILL JOHNSON...........51 @ 17-19 [ just after WW2 ????]

CLARK needs 5 wickets in his next test to be 3rd highest in 10 tests
TURNER known as the terror is the most in the world as well [in REB best NSW team]

Interesting to note that CLARK has dominated nearly every batsman in his career
except that English superstar Kevin PIETERSON.

CLARKs 8/58 is a record for a New REB Welshman v WA at the WACA

Hopefooly he gets a STAMPy of approval
