So, what are people's plans for the 'cup?
Many late nights?
Days off work?

Are the games only on Fox? Or on FTA but not live?

What times are the games actually on?

Games are generally going to be on from about 11.30 our time at night.
Luckily some of the big Aussie games are expected to be on Saturday nights.
Will be taking some days of mid-week so I can watch some of the bigger matches without compromising work commitments.

Every game of the World Cup is on Fox live.

Some games are live on free to air. They won't start till the super 8 stage though.

I can't see myself watching too many games unfortunately, i know the football world cup had games at late times but they are over within 2 hours, these games won't finish until the sun comes up.

They're on at the worst possible times.

I think the times will be as follows:

Daylight Savings Time
Session 1 - midnight - 3:30am
Session 2 - 4:15am - 7:45am

Regular Time (from approx Super 8's onwards)
Session 1 - 11pm - 2:30am
Session 2 - 3:15am - 6:45am

I could probably handle trying to watch the first session when the Super 8 stage is on and then get up at 6 to watch the final overs. Hopefully one of the tv networks will put on a highlights package of the previous mornings game on prime time.

On FTA. That would be ideal.

Unfortunately it is looking unlikely.
Sadly, Sports Tonight will be about the best bet for anything greater than a 30sec clip on the news.

I would think that C9 or one of the other channels would show the Australian games surely.

I'll be there! I'm spending a couple of weeks over in the Caribbean. I'll be going to one of the final 8 games and a semi final.

I will also be there with 5 other mates. Spending a couple of weeks in Antigua, seeing both games in the 'Party Stand'. Free food and drinks. Also going on a fishing charter in the warm Caribbean waters, can't wait!!

Downside is that I miss Norwood belting Port in the season opener!!!
