World Cup starts tonite!

Some interesting facts for dream teamers...

Sri Lankan guns Murali and Jayasuria have only played five games against the West Indies in the West Indies. Jayasuria's average is a modest 27 in the Carriebean.

Inzaman ul Haq will bat ahead of Yousuf Youhanna and Yonis Khan in the World Cup. Razzaq is out of the tournament.

Kiwi Peter Fulton is injured.

Sportal has reacted to Ithan Pathan's performance in the ICC Champions trophy by elevating him to all rounder status, catching out more than a few coaches in dream teams.

regards,

I am looking forward to it REB, just as you are.

Too bad only Australia's games will be shown on free-to-air TV.

Does anyone know if they will be showing a highlight package each day on FTA TV of the WC - similar to what SBS did during the 2005 Ashes? I don't want to just be left to reading match reports and scorecards every morning on cricinfo!!
