Guys Ive removed the posts that referred to "foul play" of some sort. Let's wait until the authorities finish their queries before make allegations like that, there is no indication of foul play as yet.
Cheers.

Well done Wedgie. I was very concerned listening to SEN this morning that there seem to be an inference that he passed away for reasons other than natural causes, but then they went on to say they had no details of his death. I found this to be extremely irresponsible reporting, putting ideas into peoples' heads without the evidence to support it. However, I've come to expect that sort of thing from the media these days.

Of course many people will wonder whether the death was from natural causes or not, given that people were burning effigies of him at the time of his death.

Those countries will burn effigies of anyone for the even the silliest of reasons - they'd burn an effigy of their own mother if she didn't put their socks in the right draw!

India's Mahendra Dhoni suffered the same as well. Indian supporters trashed his house (still being built) and burnt effigies of him because he got out for a duck against Bangladesh!!

Shades of Andres Escobar's 'own goal' versus the U.S.A. thus knocking Colombia out of the 1996 FIFA World Cup? :?

Sorry, I got the year wrong!
But looking at the dodgy past history of the gambling community in the Sub-Continent...
It kinda makes you suspicious doesn't it?

Get the hiccups there Dog_ger?
When the Pakistani player were told it might have been a heart attack, they were shocked.
"What's a heart?" they all asked in unison.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

I'm not doubting Bob Woolmer's ability, but I heard a so called radio 'sports guru' compare Bob Woolmer to Andrew Flintoff, albeit prefacing it with we didn't see the best of him because he played for Packer and on a rebel England tour. But still....pretty long bow to draw.

Jamaican police are now treating Bob Woolmer's death as suspicious, the chief investigator told a news conference. "We have informed Woolmer's family and we are in contact with all parties concerned," Mark Shields, the deputy commissioner of police, said.

"After further discussions with the medical team and our colleagues we are now treating the death as suspicious. We have reviewed the circumstances and it would be inappropriate to say anything now. We are waiting for the pathologist's reports."

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest marks were discovered on the Pakistan coach's neck. Woolmer was found unconscious in his hotel room on Sunday and pronounced dead shortly after at a Jamaica hospital.

Woolmer's family said after speaking to doctors they expected his death came from a stress-related heart attack. An autopsy completed on Tuesday was inconclusive, but investigators were waiting for the results of toxicology tests to see if they helped determine the cause.
