Is Rod Marsh talking to Wayne Clark for the new coach of SA ???
Maybe Clark was impressed when SA beat them in the charity match last game of the year.
I think Clark is a clear favourite.

First thing I would do is watch a tape of last seasons efforts on my 'Phillips' TV
WATSON would be my fitness coach
GRANT THOMAS my motivational coach
ELLIOTT my mascot

I think you could be right there mal, Clark would probably be favourite. I do think though that if Buchanan was interested he'd be the man, but more than likely hes been drawn into the equation because of an approach not necessarily because hes shown an interest in moving here and coaching the Redbacks.

A new hat in the ring
Greg Chappell perhaps

I'd be very surprised if Buchanan stepped down to coach the Redbacks. At least as soon as next season. I hope they go with Jamie Siddons. He's a strong character, has plenty of experience and would have no problem living in Adelaide given he's already spent a lot of time here.

Siddon's has been reappointed as assistant coach to the National team

I have heard that Tom Moody has been approached

BEVAN would also be a good selection

I have some mates in the WI on a world cup tour, they mentioned that Moody had a beer with the group, and they sensed from that Moody will be moving back to Australia immediately after the world cup, based on his conversations with members of the group

1980 Tassie Medalist

my mates were pretty confident that Moody was heading back to Aust and not England

If I was in the SACA shoes, I would be making a very strong play for his services

Isn't that what I have suggested?? the article suggested that family is one of his prime consideration with his next coaching gig, hence why it will be WA not SA.

give mal the job as he issues instructions to the players (& opposition) everyday anyway so he may as well earn, infact not long after mal gave ian harvey the biggest spray i've ever heard poor ian gave up playing shield cricket to play in the south african domestic competition
