No suprise there, lucky to meet him thru work 3 years ago, lovely man, but maybe to nice to be a leader IMO

Fantastic player but as a coach he has gone from one failure to another. Obviously not one of his strengths.

Unless you want the state to go back 15 years. Actually we were decent then.

If they have that much talent Mal, were they really overrated?

I don't think India are overrated I just think they lack heart. They don't have the fight of nations like New Zealand who have less talent but are a tougher side to break down, or even Ireland who are out of their depth in the World Cup yet even in the Super 8s they are fighting it out down to the last ball.
I don't want him back as Redbacks coach, we need someone new to take the next step (to 5th).

I've read more than once that Greg used to get very frustrated at players who had a continual run of outs because he didn't seem to understand that not everyone had as much ability as he did himself. When Greg had his own run of outs it proved to be somewhat of a revelation to him that you can still try your guts out and not make runs.
Coaching is about communication and perhaps this is where Greg falls short. It is a very rare combination indeed that has talent and mentoring skills (step up Leigh Matthews here).
