Anyone shed any light on why AB De Villiers is called exactly that? I heard them say what it stood for (Abraham i think), so why isn't he just called that? Also, is he related to Fannie De Villiers, or is that the equivalent of Smith in RSA?

Scheduled start of play was 10:30am (10:00 SA time), but overnight rain has delayed the start.

A tough day at the office for the Aussies.

Bowden no idea. Magill ordinary. Warne a little inconsistent. Fielding subpar. Ponting is still a shit captain alas.

REB

Once again when things don't go their way, the 'tough' Australians become petulant cry-babies...

Gotta agree with all of that REB, plus your thoughts on Hodge I really don't think he'll have a long test career either.
