Umpiring referals are being trial in the county scene this season and I hope that its dropped and never spoken of again

I dont know the answer so I will stay Each Way on the matter
There should be a referal system to keep the game fair and square
But then again it slows the game down too much
I just dont like people getting a run of poor decisions by umpires
Andrew Strauss who was having a great career has made little impact
since the Australian tour [but this is rare]

Cricket decisions can impact but over 5 days of test cricket but should not
affect results too much
Football umpiring decisions the same over 2 hours but a bit more contentious can make a difference
Soccer is the game that really needs a referral system as poor offside
and penalty decsions can be crucial.

Interesting to see the trail system in England , Im sure Strauss will vote for it.

Why not just ask the batsman if he thinks he is out?
