Will Warnie take it upon himself to win the World Cup for Australia next year,or will he trust the players currently in the squad to have a crack at it and win?

I think Warnie currently,sorry always,has a pretty high opinion of himself,dont get me wrong,the greatest player of the modern era and I along with cricket in this country will miss him in a few years time,but c'mon Shaaaaane, when you retire mate,that's it,you're retired.

With his new hair (we should be calling him Bert Newton),and his new found freedom (he will never learn),
and his sparkling current form in the test arena,he considers a return to the one-day arena?

What do you all think?

Hard to say, It would improve the one day teams bowling, but might be a bit rough on Hogg or other spinners we have used in the one day team.

He's got 10 million reasons to return. He'll definately be back...!

I agree, he will be back too. Although, it could be said that he may be holding young spinners such as Dan Cullen back from breaking into the national arena as it looks like now the selectors are keen on bringing new talent into the one-day side rather than straight to test cricket

Yeah and if Matty Hayden gets back he'll be holding back Cosgrove LMAO Jellybacks. If you're good enough you make the side end of story.

So if Warne wanted to make a come back, and say Cullen or Hogg are good enough to make the team. They will play in front of him. Yeah sure REB, whatever you say.

Come on Stanley, who would you pick?? You pick the best team and you'd take Cullen along to learn from the best leggie of all time, that's IF he's good enough to make the squad...I do rate Cullen but he hasn't made the step just yet..this 'holding back' nonsense is simply that.

2007 Stanley? Cullen should be there by then, and Warney* would snaffle Geroge's spot I reckon. You want to win these tourneys not use them as talent development excercises..the time for that is now judging by Sri Lanka's effort last night.
