It appears our mate "Chukka" is poised to break the record during the upcoming test series in Australia.
I fear the reaction to this will leave a very sour taste in everyones mouth - Aussie supporters are not known for being particularly gracious when it comes to this bowler.
It will be interesting...

Ahhh but will the great man deign to tour here? Will his delicate sensibilities allow him to come?
Knowing he can break the record here, I'm sure our little chukka (isn't that a polo term?) will come here so that he can snub his nose in his very quiet way.

Surely the Australian Government can stop him from entering the country for being a suspect person.
Suspect, as he calls himself a cricketer, but as we all know, cricketers can't chuck so therefore he isn't
who he claims to be !

Kevin Pieterson once reversed sweeped Chuker for 6 in a test match
I doubt that anyone will ever do that again
I have never abused Murali at the grounds
I only abuse the authorities who allow him to continue bowling his chuckies

I'm sure as a person he is a nice enough guy but as a cricketer he is a cheat. Give him hell i say. Rules changed to suit the chucker are ridiculous. What a joke that a guy who when he started bowling did so against the rules will end up being the leading wicket taker of all time.

Yes, certainly I think most Aussies don't mind him as a person, just that he is allowed to bowl. You could imagine the different scenarios (crowd reactions) that could happen if he does get it here and how each of those would be looked upon around the world.

He is not a cheat H31
Lets be fair, its the authorities who have allowed him to continue at this level
who are the real culprits.
I will not be booing him, I will be snarling at the incompetent bozos who let it happen.
History will remain unchanged
Ernie Jones was the first man called for chucking in the 1890s
Murali must be the last man pinged in a test match for chucking
IF MURALI GETS AWAY WITH IT , NO OTHER BOWLER IN CRICKET
CAN EVER BE CALLED EVER AGAIN, AS NO-ONE COULD EVER BE AS BAD.

Money on the sub-continent wouldn't have anything to do with this person being allowed to play would it ?
The ICC lacks balls, and anything slightly controversial regarding a non-white player and the whole of the sub continent call it racism.

I second that. I agree that the ICC are stupid enough to let him continue to play with his arm.

I agree. By letting him continue playing and siding with the Sub-Con. nations means that the ICC are being racist against us. They have to remember we let them be a test playing nation, we didn't have to, but we did.

Yep, I think mal has summed it up perfectly. I feel sorry for Murali and the game of cricket. Had he just been your average 20 Test spinner then cricket could get away with it, but the fact he'll become officially one of the greatest ever bowlers with that action is just plain stupid. These things should get nipped in the bud well before they even make first class level.
