Went to the game today with my son, giffo and giffo jnr.
Bumped into Cracker and Tiger Boss during the rain delay.

SA made 5/160 in 35 overs, after a 2 hr rain delay mid innings.
Lehmann, n.o. 50 something.

Revised total (Duckworth/Lewis System) Tassie required 172 in 35 overs to win.

TAS scored a single of the last ball to be 8/171 from 35 overs, the match was a tie.
SA only has itself to blame, over 30 sundries in the total of 171

We were discussing the Duckworth/Lewis System during the game, so I thought I would look it up so I understood it more clearly

Not only were the sundries shocking SA last few overs of batting were pretty uninspiring, no urgency to score at all.
This result has almost killed our final chances as now NSW, Vic and WA are all ahead of us, with WA defeating Qld.

When SA came back out to bat there seemed to be no urgency whatso ever, although perhaps they were a bit cautious with a damp wicket, and the ball skidding through. I did expect to see a flurry of shots in those final overs, but it wasn't to be.
If my memory is correct, there was only one 6 hit for the whole game, early in SA's innings, and that was to one of the longest boundrys, with those short side boundrys I expected to see a bit more big hitting.

There was no big hitting when we came back out to bat because when Boof checked the Duckworth/Lewis system he was told it was better to bat conservatively and not lose wickets. The match officials stuffed up with the D/L calculations which stuffed both SA and Tassy up, and Boof stormed into the match referees office and gave him a piece of his mind.

Saying that, it was a great game to watch, better than anything Twenty20 can ever be. Too many wides and poor fielding. Taits last over was brilliant.
