ok 'right' must be if I'm on the island? cos if i think of a map south and right would put me in the middle of the Atlantic...unless you mean Africa...so I'll try to a smartarse and cover all choices...

Botswanna if it's African and British Honduras that became Belize if it's Central America :D ...can't think of any others strting with 'B'

heading south from the west indies and turning right would put you in the middle of central america and in belize......turning left coming south from the west indies would put you heading to africa
