Sorry Mags my sweet but I'm going to have to disagree with whoever wrote the question. I've doublechecked...question specifically states UK and a tablespoon here (same as USA) is 15ml which is 3 x 5ml teaspoons. In Australia it is 20ml and 4 x 5ml. Trust me I use them every day

I swear you wait till Im not around to put up new quizzes.. ](*,)

I'll be buggered if I know any of them.

so Jas, what's the answer to q8 then? huh.

We need yourself and/or JTC to get rid of q's 23,31 and 33

Mags, to stick up for dear JAS, I reckon a pom who is looking at pommy spoons is going to be more correct than a very smart man with a computer

this from another UK website

Measurement Conversion

Tablespoon/Teaspoon Conversion
1.2 teaspoon (US) = 1 teaspoon (UK)
1.2 Tablespoon (US) = 1 Tablespoon (UK)
1 Tablespoon (UK) = 4 Teaspoon (UK)

man behind computer has a wealth of information
and this quiz is from the UK written by a POM

Haha...appreciate the effort honey but I haven't given up just yet....you are correct it is written on the damned spoons and Wiki  agrees with me...that Pom was probably a bloke...let battle commence for now

As for Q8 I wouldn't be surprised if it was a trick question and the answer is none. This country was totally 'fire and brimstone' type religions back then, even today if you hang out your laundry on a Sunday on some of the Islands you'll be snubbed by the whole community.

Might take a guess at the others or maybe leave for JTC

from another UK measure conversion website

Between the teaspoonful and the tablespoonful lies the dessertspoonful, such that 1 tablespoonful = 2 dessertspoonfuls, 1 dessertspoonful = 2 teaspoonfuls, and 1 teaspoonful = 2 saltspoonfuls. Thus 4 (instead of 3) British teaspoons = 1 British tablespoon.

A dessertspoon is 10ml...only 1 1/2 dessertspoons to a tablespoon [-(

Even your own Australian Women's Weekly cookbooks state that 'North America, New Zealand and the United Kingdom use a 15ml tablespoon'

All the others are just plain wrong and you won't convince me otherwise
