2001 hmmmmm my first thoughts are King and Dillon but i reckon it might be more obscure. I am still assuming it's a quick cos all West Indies spinners have always been part timers who were batsmen.

It's a quick, but nether King or Dillon.

Trying to think of who else they had around that time. Went through a few. Cuffy?

That's the one. Cuffy had figures of 10-2-20-0; and because of this economy (West Indies won by 29 runs), he was the Man of the Match.

I'm going to guess zero for question two. I don't know the answer.

Q5 - Did they all make ducks in their 1st 2-3 ODI innings... Remember poor old Kenny had a shocking start to his career.

How hard is it, played cricket, go to the cricket, watch all the cricket I can on telly, then you get these quizzes, and really after 30 odd years of all the above, I actually know nothing about the bloody game :D

5. Very left field and admit to Cricinfo-ing this question ... but were they all South African Cricketers of the Year (Hayward and Rutherford definitely have, Larkins may well have - as too More ... but Labrooy is a long bow drawn) from the South African Cricket Annual.

None of the above answers is what I am looking for.

Clues:

1 - The player who is left died of malaria.

5 - These players will be the only players to have what they have for their country.

6 - It's to do with the 2nd day of the Test.

6. Having Cricinfo-ed this one (I am losing patience), I saw that 21 wickets fell and the players left the field early before tea for bad light but returned.

I am fairly sure that it is not a record for most wickets in the day and no player was out twice in the day.

Shit, you got me!

5 - All of the five were the same number player in debut order for their country?

1. I asked a good friend last night who is a cricket stat nut for the last death. He has nominated Trevor Madondo from Zimbabwe in his email back

No, not the answer I'm looking for no 6. "Bowled out" is another clue though, so you're not far off, like Benchwarmer.

5 - That's the answer! Each player was the 50th player to debut for their country.
