Blow up the outside world - Sound Garden.
Remember getting the CD single as a prize at the Bridgeway when the album was released (Evenflow were playing).

That it is!!
Good album - no Superunknown though.

My lyrics :

I'm a barbie Girl, in a barbie world ...

Just kidding.

Here's mine:

The smell of hospitals in winter
And the feeling that its all a lot of oysters, but no pearls
All at once you look across a crowded room
To see the way that light attaches to a girl

Yeah it is no superunknown but still spawned some classic soundgarden tracks:
Pretty Noose
Rhinosaur
Burden in my hand
Blow up the outside world
Ty Cobb
Overfloater

I think we give up, maybe it would be better if very obscure songs werent used. Just try trick with better known songs.

I wouldn't say it's an obscure song Lizzy. I'd jsut say you and I and other contributors to this thread haven't heard of it. ;)

BTW - the previous song was a Counting Crows song.

But...to keep this rolling, I'll chuck up another song.

Wasn't overly obscure but eh :)

It was "A Long December" by Counting Crows.

I didn't think it would be that tough.
I'll add the next line:

"I like it quiet and I like to shout. But when we get together it just all works out"

Hahahahaha. Now this is a blast from the past

Oppisites Attract - Paula Abdul
2nd line gave it away.

How about this

"Here's the wind-up, and there it is
A line shot up the middle, look at him go
This boy can really fly"

Well that's pretty easy innit? I hate this fugging song.

Paradise by the Dashboard Light - Meatloaf.

The guy who does the baseball commentary in the song was an actual commentator. And actually struggled to do it initially - found the concept a bit difficult until they simulated the baseball actiojn in front of him. Apparently the song's the scourge of his life - he, like me, also dislikes the song.

Ok ----- what have I got?

" 40,000 men and women everyday (like Romeo and Juliet), 40,000 men and women everyday (redefine happiness)."
