My memory of watching the Brisbane Test as a kid in 80-81 is what is driving me. I'm going to have to work through what I think is the Kiwi team and also I reckon it was Lillee who pretty much took all the wickets in the match as we flogged New Zealand.

My next guesses are going to be Richard Hadlee, Martin Snedden, John Parker and Gary Troup.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

None of them, you are correct in the fact it was in Brisbane, DK bowled very tidy in the 1st dig then took 6/53 in the 2nd to wrap the game up in 3 days.

Warren didn't play that match, Ian Smith debuted as the keeper, not him either.

I can't remember Wright or Edgar playing. Was it either of them?

Okay. I'll pick Wright and then Edgar. So it will either be my ninth or tenth guess. Like pulling teeth here as my memory fades over 28 years

It was Bruce Edgar, there's nothing like a fellow cricket lover reminiscing of the days when cricketers were just cricketers not fashion statements, I had to put a question in for that era after hearing of underarm#2 yesterday, at least justice prevailed at the end of the game.

I didn't nominate them initially because I was mostly convinced they didn't play, and also I thought Lawson's first wicket was a tailender.

New direction now then.
