1) Name the seven players to have played Test cricket after 1990 that have passed away since then* Malcolm Marshall, Tertius Bosch, Trevor Madondo, Ben Hollioake, Hansie Cronje, Neil Williams, Manjural Islam Rana

2) Out of the 11 times Steve Waugh sent in the opposition after winning the toss in a Test match, how many matches did Australia lose? None

3) What is the highest maiden Test century, and who scored it? 365*, Sir Garfield Sobers

4) How many Test Series have Sri Lanka won against Australia? One

5) What do the ODI players Ken Rutherford, Wayne Larkins, Nantie Hayward, Kiran More and Graeme Labrooy have in common? They were the 50th player to debut for their country

6) What was unique about the England vs West Indies 2nd Test in 2000? Part of all four innings occured on one day - the 2nd

7) Batting for South Australia, Barry Richards famously made 300 in one day against Western Australia in 1970/71. Who was the not out batsman when he was eventually dismissed? Ken Cunningham

8 ) Which West Indian player scored a century on Test debut, but never played another Test? Andy Ganteaume

9) How many balls were there per over in the first ever Test match in 1876/77? Four

10) Which player in a one day international in 2001 was awarded MOTM; despite not scoring a run, taking a wicket, or holding a catch? Cameron Cuffy

*Note - there are 5 that I could come up with, if you can name anymore, you have stumped Spelly! ;) Manjural Islam Rana is another that I hadn't thought of, so it is now six. And Neil Williams, seven now.

Four - Once (the series when Waugh and Gillespie ran into each other)

Malcolm Marshall as one of the lamented late five

Simpson is incorrect, but Marshall is one of the five.

Not Jonty Rhodes; and it was not for outstanding fielding.

If you wiped out Simpson, that doesn't leave me many options apart from probably Andy Sandham. But I must admit I thought his triple was a second Test ton of the two he made, not the first. I'm going Sandham.

I reckon you are thinking of Sajjadul Hasan. He only played first class cricket.

And Tertius Bosch is another of the 5, Tassie. :)

Edit: You are right, roger, Manjural Islam Rana was killed in the same accident as Hasan. I didn't check up on that as I thought he only played first class cricket. You have stumped me!

That's what happened, but it's not what is unique about that Test.
