Petoit was a former Mayor and Physician who turned to crime for greed. He had an 'underground' network where Jews and others fleeing Nazi occupied France would pay Dr Petoit. Thus when his victims disappeared, he could say, they've fleed to England or America. When the Gestapo got wind of him, Nazis started disappearing. By the time he was caught he had accounted for over 40 victims.

Leopold and Loeb

Bobby Franks was the victim of Leopold and Loeb, the weathly Chicago students who planned what they thought was the perfect murder. Of course, this didn't prove to be the case and both received life sentances. Nathan Leopold actually got out of prison and died a free man.

Charles Sobraj was a half european half asian killer who was active in the 1970's and was respsonsible for a string of killings in Thailand and Nepal. Sobraj, a man of many identities and personnas went under the Pseoudymn of Alan Guatier and had a habit of drugging and robbing tourists before disposing of them.

Dennis Nielson

Nielson was a homesexual serial killer who became enraged whenever a companion 'left' him. The book about his case is called 'Killing for Company'. Nielson murdered 16 victims making along with the Wests and Peter Sutcliffe one of the most proflic murderers in British criminal history. Nielson used to strangle his victims with ties and by the time he was apprehended he had ran out of them.

Gary Heidnik

Heidnik, like many serial killers suffered a head injury that completely changed his character. Heidnik was active in Philedelphia and had a taste for bent sex and black women. Heidnik was indepentently wealthy but instead of living like a king he'd do weird shit like use real money for wallpaper. He also, to quote Nelly had some 'hoes in a basement'. He earnt his nickname by trying to get his sex slaves pregnant, he didn't do so successfully but he was successful at killing them. One of them gained Heidnik's trust and was allowed out of the house to run errands but she escaped and alerted police instead. Game over.

David and Catherine Birnie were responsible for a series of murder in Western Australia in the 1980's. Both are now dead (Catherine Birnie having passed away only recently) but not are not missed by those in the West.

Leonard Lake and Charles Ng

In the mid 1980's Lenorard Lake, a survival nut and Charles Ng a small time criminal had gotten into the murder habit. Lake had built a commando type fortress and tourists and families started disappearing in California. The kids and husbands were killed pretty much straight away but Lake and Ng liked to make snuff movies as they raped and killed the women. Ng, a kleptomanic brought the law down on them for stealing a vice. Leonard Lake decided a cyniade pill was the only way to go but Ng escaped. He was eventually captured in Canada.

False: Fred West committed suicide on New Year's day 1995 after Rose repuidiated him. This led many observers to believe that Fred, while initially the stronger of the two, became more subservient and that Rose assumed a more dominant role. Unlike many serial killers the pace of killing had actually slowed as the Wests had already explored all there was to explore.

Incorrect. Bernardo was still the 'Scarborough Rapist' in the 1980's and didn't graduate to murder until the early 90's. He and his wife did videotape their crimes however. The wife was even an accomplice in her own younger sisters' murder. Sick ****.
