A clairvoyant predicted a giant tidal wave would engulf Adelaide and cause considerable damage
The then Premier Donald Dunstan had a chicken and champers breakfast on the day at Bayman Beach
It never got me concerned
But can u believe that people sold thier houses, and or left to go interstate

Next Question
I was a teenager then
What job [employment] was I doing on the day

Dogwatcher lets see how good you are this time !!!!!

Clue
1970s Jethro Tull had a famous album
It describes Bayman
It also is a big clue to what I was doing that day for work

YES

The Jethro Tull album was
THICK AS A BRICK [Bayman]

Yeah I was a brickies labourer assisting renovating a house at Kings Park that day
I had my tranny telling my boss I was listening for any news on the Tidal wave
What I was doing was listening to the trots on the radio that day !

i was down there that day as an 11yo kid, blokes had surf boards, my brother got don dunstans autograph & obviously nothing happened & since i've found out the gulf is too sMALl to have a tidal wave of the gigantic prophecy forecasted & a very very remote chance to have one of any damaging size if at all

now what was the blokes name ?
also where is he now ?

The guy who made the prediction HAS the same name as a person who :
Played football for Norwood
Played Sheffiield Shield cricket for South Australia
Remarkably this man was playing both sports at about the same time

Also the same name as a singer in that era

Pretty understanding boss you had for back then, allowing a bloke dressed as a woman hanging around the site. Very liberal.
