This quiz takes the knowledge to another level, and covers five bands that showcased Australian music overseas: Midnight Oil, INXS, The Easybeats, Men At Work and Little River Band.

1. Place the bands in chronological order of their formation, in their most recognised lineups under their most known band name(as verified by official band records/websites etc)
Easybeats, LRB, Midnight Oil, INXS, Men At Work

2. Which of the bands achieved a UK or US number one first, and for a bonus point, name the song. Men At Work, "Who Can It Be Now"

3. In terms of songs, what is the primary connection between INXS and the Easybeats? The song, "Good Times" (done by INXS and Jimmy Barnes in 1987

Correct on Help Is On Its Way :) - it's often assumed to be the first named song, which actually only reached number 35 in Australia, although number 3 in the US

Correct on Bird Noises, but Place Without A Postcard is a full album, not an EP :)

All correct - 1964 for the Easybeats, with the others 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1979 respectively :)
