Hey CK. Re #6 "Step Back" was the last song Stevie Wright and George Young wrote together. According to legend they wrote it for Johnny Young (in some 15 minutes) after he supported them on their farewell tour in Perth. BUT The Easybeats never recorded it. Was this the song you were thinking of?

Nope - the song I'm referring to was released by the Easybeats. "Sorry" was released in October 1966.

Nope - the song I'm referring to was released by the Easybeats. "Sorry" was released in October 1966.


Mmmmm....okay that has me stumped, and I thought I knew their stuff pretty well. :-?

They recorded a batch of songs when they first got to the UK at Abbey Road one of which I think was a Wright/Young track but I'm damned if I can think of it. :oops:

Correcting this one - Leaping Lindner is in fact correct with "Sorry" - my mistake, folks :oops: . I misread a reference on this one.
