5) In 2001, Mike Denness made the headlines when he suspended one Indian player and disciplined 5 others during their tour of South Africa. Who was the player suspended?

7) Who scored the very first Test century in 1877 and what was he on when forced to retire hurt?

Agree with REB on the rest.

7. Bannerman was on 169 when he retired hurt.

3. I know the last batsman was Gordon Greenidge
4. Tim May
6. Pakistan

I stand corrected on Charles Bannerman. 165 does sound correct now i think about it.

Don't think question 4 is Tim May though. I'm sure his best was 5/13 vs. West Indies in the Adelaide Test in 1992. if only it was 5/11 :wink:

2) Correct SC - it was Fred Sprofforth
3) Ambrose, Patterson, Greenidge
4) Not correct yet.
5) Zimbabwe beat Pakistan in the first test in 1998, then next two were rained out.
6) Charles Bannerman - 165* - Australia were on 166 at the end of day 1, Bannerman scored 126 of those runs. Only played two more tests.

Just question 4 to go now.
