PANTERA Studio Albums

1.) Metal Magic
2.) Projects in the jungle
(Indie releases)

3.) I am the Night
4.) Power Metal
(Early 'Glam' albums: sound a lot like Judas Priest)

 :axe:

5.) Cowboys from Hell
6.) Vulgar Display of Power
7.) Far Beyond Driven
8.) The Great Southern Trendkill
9.) Reinventing the Steel

:supz: :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz:

Bit of trivia related to 1996's 'The Great Southern Trendkill'
At the time there was almost a title change & a delayed Australian release due to the Port Arthur Massacre
& how the Aussie public's sensitivity & reaction would be towards the album's name...
Even though it has absolutely nothing to do with that tragic turn of events!

R.I.P. Victims of Port Arthur

& R.I.P. Pantera/Damageplan Guitarist 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott

(All victims of dickheads with firearms! :x )

Was Eulogy about the death of Maynard Keenan's mother?

I think the 10,000 Days title had something to do with that also.

Eulogy was a tribute to the great Bill Hicks.
10000 days is a tribute to his mother who was paralysed for 10000 days or about 27 years, also A perfect circle wrote "Judith" in honour of the same woman.

Didn't know the 10,000 reference, but I do now - interesting. I did know "Judith" though - when I found that out I read the lyrics and it made a lot more sense, even felt a bit emotional.

Think you might be right Diss.

Seems I'm way off at the moment - I'm around the mark, but not sealing the deal.

Leadbelly - Muddy Waters...blues fans would be disgusted I got the two mixed up.
