brod this is the answer given for that quiz.

8 Pakistan and India drew the second Test in Faisalabad, which was the highest-scoring match in Test history.

i see your point. i checked highest aggregate matches and this game is around 7 or 8th highest. then i thought it was to do with tied test differences but the runs didnt add up.

need to do some more investigation

The record that was broken was the highest scoring Test match in Pakistan.

The previous highest was 1585 runs, Pakistan vs New Zealand in Karachi, 1976/77.
