 WTF!

Belinda Snell just hit a 2/3 of the court 3 to send the game into overtime.

This might be the get out of jail card we need.

That's just insane. If we jag this it'll be massively unjust. I'll still take it though. But a missed layup, missed free throw in the last few seconds and Snell hits THAT for OT?

Big questions for me are how do we cope sans Jackson and Cambage for the game and how do France recover from that sort of disappointment.

Someone needs to teach these girls to drive INTO the player on layups and about changing speed on them. Far too easy to block and there have been a few blocked.

First time we have lost a preliminary game in 16 years.

Puts us on course for a semi against USA unless there are a few more upsets.

What advice would you be giving them before the next game Grahaml?

Slow down on offense for a start. No need to rush the passes, especially the ones inside. Far too often the ball was coming in before the defender was sealed properly or before the posting player was ready for it. I'd also suggest less ball to Cambage and more to Jackson. On the defensive end they need to concentrate on finding a body to keep off the boards.

opals will be lucky to win a medal this year, and I actually hope they don't. When you leave Australia's best guard at home because she started the year in the WNBA and didn't want to stay home for the start of opals camp then you don't deserve to win.

Yes, let's encourage individual attitudes in a team sport.

If you aren't prepared to commit to a training camp then you don't want a medal bad enough.

She wasn't being a individual, she decided to miss part of the camp to play in the best league in the world, she then joined the team in the Europe part of the camp. Let put it this way if she was in the team they would be red hot favorites for the gold
