I think that is a fantastic effort from the 2 aussies. These are the best riders in the world they're up against and neither have had a great last 12 months or so. Evans with his knee injury recently on top of the massive amount of work he had to do in the tour, Rogers his crash the year before. To end up 5th for Evans and 10th or so for Rogers is magnificent IMHO.

Bring on the aussie pro team. Rogers, Evans, O'Grady, Gerrans would make a solid core next year. Sadly I think O'Grady will be retired and Evans past his best when and if it happens. But Rogers might be at his best by then.
