I loved Alicia Camplin's commentary on Mengtao's stack - 'Taotao ate the snow that's what just happened, she couldn't hold it under pressure, not like our girl Lydia Lassila who ate it up when it counted'

Well done to the usa guy who won silver in the Men's Aerials today, he has been though so much, like his mum walked out and is now back in his life, lost his sister in a car crash, he was abused when he was young, saw his friend take his life in front of him, became an alcohlic, won half a million at Las Vegas and gave half of it to friends and the other half was lost through the GFC attempted to take his own life a couple and times and made the Olympic team.

Tatiana Borodulina scrapes into the 1000m short track semi final by 0.008 seconds in her heat.

Canada's Charles Hamelin has won the mens 500m short track final in scenes similar to Bradbury's in 2002!

LOL, may have been mentioned before but the dumb American ******* seem to think that the best performing nation wins the most medals instead of the most gold (because they normally do).

So according to their logic, a nation that wins 10 bronze medals has performed better than a nation that has won 9 golds.

I think that the Advertiser has the same logic, as they have Canada with about 13 gold in four while having USA in 1st with 10 gold.

In the first week it appeared all offical medal tallies were going on total medals as when Begg-Smith got his silver, nations which had 2-3 bronze only were appearing higher than Australia on 1 silver (I always thought it went on most gold, then most silver, then most bronze)

Great win by the Canadian Mens Hockey Team!!!!!

Sydney Crosby fittingly scored the winning goal with a great bit of team work between him and Jerome Iginla.

Great to see them beat the Seppos!
