USA absolutely smashed it. Why didn't Magnussen swim last? Can't believe we didn't even get a medal!

The Frogs won it but yes it was a terrible swim by the Aussies.

Ha! I was writing it when USA were miles in front! Didn't bother paying attention to the finish.

With the emphasis on wanker. Remember his comments on having to qualify for the games in Adelaide? Tosser.

Yeah agree. I was prepared to cut him some slack over those comments, but he lost me this morning. One of the only Aussies I hope gets beaten now.

I was tempted at 4.30am when I got up for a squirt but had second thoughts and slipped back under the doona.

10m men's synchronised coming up ... I'm sure they'll do better than the Chief and Spud.

Exactly... Sh!ts me when they say she did her best... No she didnt she rolled up overweight and not fit enough - better off to give a young girl the chance to debut at an olympics than to give LJ a farewell tour

Ya know what is still shitting me...hearing Steph Rice talk herself down before her first event. How the **** are you supposed to win if you don't believe you can win?!

Is Jones pregnant? Seriously. If not, she's been training in a pool of muffins since the trials.

As for Magnussen, sprinters (in any discipline) are - by definition - arrogant wankers.

Don't mind him (and others) talking the talk. But geez, you've gotta walk it. Or cop it... in spades.

Hate it when people cry "tall poppy syndrome" as soon as the criticism starts. Some might even call it "comeuppance".

Rice looked like she's already conceded defeat. Maybe she's just being realistic...

Or Seebohm claiming twitter cost her gold - she believe everyone saying said had already won it! Who are coaching these people?!?!?!?!!? FFS they have a lot to answer for.

Hope we don't have to hear Liesel Jones go on about how well we are doing and its the olympics and its a hard competition again.
