I have been to 3 Olympics, commonwealth Games and swimming world championships and never have I seen an Australian swim team look so down and uninterested and now supporting their team mates. I remember the first time I went to a Commonwealth Games I was blown away by the enthusiasm and support they would give their team mates. As soon as the warm ups were done the team was in the stands chanting singing and getting the Aussies in the crowed going.

In London over 2 nights I attended most didn’t get to the seats before the start of the races and not a single chant or song. Even when an Aussie was racing most were more interested on what was going on with their mobile phone than watching the race. If a hack like me could see that from the other side of the stadium surely the coaches could feel it.
